Worship space and Wildlife garden
Saturday 6th July was the day chosen to remove the remaining 6 of the original 10 tree stumps. Starting at 9am, the very hot weather made the work harder, but morale was boosted when the first stump came out at 10am. Removing all 6 seemed an impossible task but as techniques improved and dogged determination set in, the stumps were giving up in 30 minute intervals. The last one emerged at 12.15pm. The scene is now set for more normal gardening and hopefully many more volunteers. It is hoped the LiveSimply Garden will be ready for the Archbishop to bless when he visits the parish on Sunday 13th July 2014.
