Welcome to Mass today!
We are entering another very ‘busy’ period for the parish. Please take the summer calendar of events (also on the website). But at the heart of everything we do is the Mass. If I had just one prayer/hope for the parish it would be that we are all at Mass each Sunday. This is the absolute bedrock our Catholic Faith.
I do encourage you to think seriously about this, and not to be tempted by other things. Above all, parents please give a really good example to your children (as many of you do, of course). Long Christian experience shows that once Sunday Mass slides, so does everything else. What matters is our eternal salvation, through Christ. May we each renew our commitment to our Lord this Easter season, to the Church he founded, to our parish and to each other.
Saturday (25th) We welcome (3.45pm) through Holy Baptism Billy Thomas Molloy (1year), his parents Nolan & Julie and his godparents Ben & Lisa.
Sunday (26th) On Yer Bike Challenge – Flavio Iorio is undertaking a 40 mile cycle ride in aid of the RNLI, St Michael’s Hospice and the Knights of St Columba. His sponsor form can be found in the porch. Good luck Flavio!!
Monday (27th) Journey in Faith (Presbytery 8.00-9.30pm). Do take a flyer – all most welcome, especially non-Catholics.
CWL meeting in the Social Centre at 8.00pm
Wednesday (29th) Baptism Preparation Evening from 8.00-9.30pm in the Presbytery for parents who have been informed.
Altar Servers Rally at Aylesford Friary near Maidstone – Bank Holiday Monday 4th May Nick Babb will be contacting parents.
Mass for Immigrant Workers – Monday 4th May, 10.30am at Westminster Cathedral at which our own Bishop Pat Lynch is preaching. The Mass will be followed by a rally in Trafalgar Square. See Westminster website and do go if you can.
Day of Celebration for the Year of St Paul on Saturday 27th June This is to be held at Aylesford Priory for the whole of our diocese with Archbishop Kevin. Please sign coach list as soon as possible. This will be a great day out together! (Sue David)

Children’s Liturgy Group
Children’s Liturgy is for children, aged 3+ to end of year 3, who are old enough to listen quietly and join in the activities independently and prayerfully. Parents are reminded that only the leader and helpers should go into the hall. All leaders/helpers are subject to CRB checks. (Mary Hutchinson)
Care of our property
Thank you for responding to my plea last Sunday and carry on the good work!
Gardening Task Force! Could as many people as possible turn up to help clear/tidy our parish garden – Saturday 9th May from 10.00am-12 noon? (please sign list in porch). We are so lucky to have this area, and there are several outdoor events coming up – thanks! (Frank Simon)
Have a great week. Fr Bryan.
