Welcome to Mass today – and a special welcome to Fr Joseph Karukayal (Sat 6pm) who is the assistant Priest at St Joseph’s, Bromley. I shall be attending the Golden Jubilee celebrations for Fr Paddy Murtagh (who received me into the church) in Selsdon.
We welcome also through Holy Baptism Isabelle and Amelia Boot-Handford (10 mths) and their parents Sarah and David, and godparents Catherine, Adrianna, Alex and Christopher (Sat 4.15pm).
This afternoon Song practice (informal) 3.30pm – 5.00pm for the Taizé service which we are holding here next Sunday (29th) at 8pm.
This evening ‘Face to Face’ at the Methodist Church Jonathan Aitken talks to the Rev. Paul Hulme at 6.30pm – all very welcome (poster in porch).
Monday: Journey in Faith 8.00pm.
Wednesday: Deanery Pastoral Council at St Josephs, Bromley, starting 8.00pm.
Saturday: Safeguarding matters – session for all who work with young people or vulnerable adults in the parish. Please try to attend if you are in this category – please book yourself a place (forms in porch).
Race Night to raise funds for Francis Charlesworth who will be going to India as part of BSES (British Schools Exploration Society) £6 inc. food and also Military Whist Drive on 5th July. Please support these events (7.30pm)
Next Sunday We shall welcome 6 new adults into full membership of the Catholic Church (11.30am Mass): Emma Doyle, Sue Ayley, Rebecca Blighton, Sue Ingle, Jack Ingle and Andrew Dalgleish – a very special moment in their lives and in the life of our community.
Taizé service by candlelight at 8.00pm – meditation, silence, reflection, song. Do come.

· CWL Meeting – Monday 30th June at 7.30pm
At 8pm we will have a speaker from the ‘Scrine foundation’ – a charity based in the Broadstairs area – which helps rehabilitate people with addictions. All Parishioners welcome. Further details from Barbara Bridle.
· Youth Leaders thanks to all who helped with the confirmation reunion Mass and celebration last Saturday. More youth helpers would be appreciated (please see Fr Bryan) The commitment (from Sept) will be alternate Saturdays 3.45pm – 5.45pm
· Children’s Holiday Club – This year the inter-church club will be based across the road at Southborough Baptist Church and will take place during the October half term – full details in due course.
