Welcome to Mass Today!

In the Gospel reading Jesus calms a storm on the Sea of Galilee.  The disciples have been frightened and Jesus is amazed at their lack of faith in him.  His question to them is his question to us: “why are you so frightened?” and he says to them, and to us, “be calm!” May the Lord give each of us a sense of his calming presence in our Mass today and in the coming week.

We welcome      through Holy Baptism, on Saturday at 4.30pm, Louise Sara Henderson (2 months), her parents Kirsty & Jason, and godparents Colette & Martine and, on Sunday at 3.00pm, Fletcher Jeremy Hegarty, his parents Victoria & Andrew and godparent Kevin, and witnesses Michele, Emma & Paul.

Today at 10am   We present our First Communion children with their certificates and badges.  Many thanks to everyone who made the Mass last Saturday such a lovely occasion

Future of our Hall / Social Centre – Parish Survey

Thank you to the parishioners who have already returned their survey forms.  However a substantial number have not yet come back.  If you are one of these then please resolve firmly to complete your survey form this week and bring it back by next weekend.

Please remember, we need to hear from every parishioner, including younger parishioners who have been confirmed.  If you were away at launch weekend, or if you have lost your original form, then spares are available as you leave Mass today.

Alternatively, if you have Internet access, you can now complete the survey online ‑ just visit our website and follow the instructions in the blue 'box' on the home page.

If we are to take on a substantial redevelopment of our Hall / Social Centre we need to know that the whole parish is behind the idea.  Please let us have your views.

Daily downloadable prayer for your MP3 players (see poster in porch).

Have a good week – every blessing...Fr Bryan
