A warm welcome to Mass today – the solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. The God we believe in is in relationship with himself – the love of the Father for the Son, and the love of the Son (Jesus) for the Father issues in the Holy Spirit. As Christians we are invited to take part in this eternal, dynamic movement - God’s work of creation, redemption and sanctification. So please give generously to the retiring collection today (as you leave church) for the Burma cyclone and the China earthquake - we have all seen the heart-rending pictures. And please pray for the victims.
Monday Journey in Faith (8.00pm – Servers’ room.)
Tuesday Taize Meeting at 8.00pm –in the Servers’ Room for all who would like to go this year (August 2nd – 9th). Anyone 17-35 years is most welcome. We are planning to take a large group from the parish this year and also young people from our deanery and the other PW churches. It is a great week with the opportunity to meet young people from all over the world - highly recommended!
Next Sunday – May 25th- Petts Wood Festival Chorus meets in church here from 3.30-5.00pm to prepare music for the Petts Wood Residents Association service on Sunday 8th June. ALL who enjoy singing are warmly invited to come and sing and hopefully those of you who sang in the St John Passion will give full support. (Members please get the message round.)

Baptism preparation evening for all parents presenting children for baptism in the near future. Tuesday 3rd June 8.30–9.45pm in church.
Parish Forum Monday 9th June at 8.00pm – to receive the financial statement for 2007 and to plan ahead as a parish.
Confirmation (last Thursday). What a wonderful evening! Bishop Paul Hendricks spoke directly to the young people, challenging them to develop a personal faith in Christ. Thanks are due to so many people - flower arrangers, cleaners, servers, musicians, CWL, catechists, parents and sponsors. I am so grateful to anyone who helped in any way to make this such a lovely occasion.
