Many thanks to the 60 or so parishioners who came to the forum last Monday. It was a very positive meeting and minutes are available in the porch. Thanks also to the J&P group and also to those of you who came to Sister Doreen’s workshop on Children’s Liturgy (her second and final session is this coming Wednesday at 8.00pm and I would ask that everyone involved in Children’s Liturgy group attend please.

The Holy Ghost Fathers would like to thank all parishioners who bought raffle tickets, donated items for sale or contributed in any way towards the success of our annual garden fete on Bank Holiday Monday 26th May. Despite the inclement weather, the Fete, in conjunction with this year’s acrd draw and Grand Draw we raised £5,300. Thank you for coming and we look forward to another great day next year.
The Southwark Brethren is a long standing charity which helps sick and retired priests who are in need. We thank you for your continuous generosity in the past and ask for your help again this year. Please send donations to Rev. Paul Hough, St Elpheges Presbytery, 120 Stafford Road, Wallington, Surrey, SM6 9AY. Last year we were able to give £1000 each to 30 Priests in the Diocese of Southwark and Arundel and Brighton, and also help 8 working Priests who had serious sickness, to make their situation a little easier. In addition, we have a Gift Aid scheme for those who pay tax and we the lay people who have joined by applying for a Gift Aid form.’ (Forms available in porch-please support if poss. Fr.B.).
