We celebrate the Exaltation of the Holy Cross – the central
symbol of our freedom in Christ. “Lord, by your cross and resurrection you have
set us free. You are the saviour of the world.” (acclamation in the Eucharistic prayer.)
We welcome through Holy Baptism (Sat 3.30pm),
Lilianna Florence King (4mths), her parents Joanna & Jonathan and
godparents Nicole, Darren 7 Adam. Also, (Sat 4.15pm) Thomas George Gibson
(3mths), his parents Joanne & James and godparents Laura & Frank.

blessing for their married life together.
Second
Collection Today our 5 in 1 collection for Catholic Education Service,
Communications, Apostleship of the Sea, Racial Justice and Catholic Youth
Service. Your offering will be divided
equally between these Catholic organisations.
This week I am on the Diocesan Clergy Retreat at
Aylesford. Sadly I have not been able to
find a Priest to say Mass between Tuesday and Friday and so there will be
Eucharistic Services during these days. I
do ask daily Mass goers to continue this week and to support the ministry of
our Eucharistic Ministers, who have been commissioned by the Archbishop and to
whom I am extremely grateful. Mass
and Exposition on Monday as usual.
Monday: Journey in Faith – NO MEETING THIS WEEK – recommences on 22nd. Any
non-catholic is warmly welcomed.
Tuesday: Deanery
Youth Training Session the 1st
of 4 at 8pm in the Social Centre.
Sequence Tea Dance 1.30-2.30pm for beginners, 2.30-4.30pm the
usual tea sequence dance. Please support and pick up a flyer in the porch.

Mass for all children baptised here (or elsewhere) over the past year
