Welcome to Mass today

We celebrate the Exaltation of the Holy Cross – the central symbol of our freedom in Christ. “Lord, by your cross and resurrection you have set us free. You are the saviour of the world.” (acclamation in the Eucharistic prayer.)

We welcome through Holy Baptism (Sat 3.30pm), Lilianna Florence King (4mths), her parents Joanna & Jonathan and godparents Nicole, Darren 7 Adam. Also, (Sat 4.15pm) Thomas George Gibson (3mths), his parents Joanne & James and godparents Laura & Frank.

Congratulations to Joanne Bass and Martin Collins who were married here on Friday and every blessing for their married life together.

Second Collection Today our 5 in 1 collection for Catholic Education Service, Communications, Apostleship of the Sea, Racial Justice and Catholic Youth Service.  Your offering will be divided equally between these Catholic organisations.

This week I am on the Diocesan Clergy Retreat at Aylesford.  Sadly I have not been able to find a Priest to say Mass between Tuesday and Friday and so there will be Eucharistic Services during these days.  I do ask daily Mass goers to continue this week and to support the ministry of our Eucharistic Ministers, who have been commissioned by the Archbishop and to whom I am extremely grateful.  Mass and Exposition on Monday as usual.

Monday:                    Journey in FaithNO MEETING THIS WEEK – recommences on 22nd. Any non-catholic is warmly welcomed.
