Welcome to Mass on this feast of Corpus Christi when we thank God for the gift of Jesus to us in Holy Communion. Archbishop Kevin addresses us today through a pastoral letter on this theme.
We welcome, through Holy Baptism during 11.30am Mass, Rebecca Anna Wells (6 months), her parents Dominique and Tim and godparents Trudy and Dominic; and also Rory Francis Thomas (6 months) (from Tooting), his parents Catherine and Matt and godparents Jennifer and Neil.
A special welcome to Fr Arbo Lekule who will celebrate the 10.00am Mass today. Fr Arbo has just completed a higher degree in International Development and will soon be taking up his next parish appointment. Many of you will know him from St Joseph’s, Bromley.
On Saturday 27 of our children received Holy Communion for the first time and this is a cause of great joy for the whole parish! Please remember them in your prayers, that they may be faithful at Mass on Sundays for the rest of their lives:

Parish Library We should like to decorate the library room. Small working party required for Sat 4th and 11th July (9.00am-12noon). This is not a huge job, but there is only one name so far on the list in the porch. Contact Teresa.

On 26th June I celebrate 10 years as a Catholic priest and to mark this could I ask you please to support the work of our diocesan seminary? You will be pleased to know that numbers are up but we must not be complacent and must do all we can to foster vocations to the priesthood.....
Penitential service – Wednesday 15th July – 7.30pm
Many of you have requested this as there is a long gap between Lent and Advent. There will be several priests and I hope many penitents.
