Today is
the solemnity of the Epiphany (the manifestation of Christ to the
gentiles − all non-Jewish people − i.e. us). The wise men in the story symbolize the fulfilment of
So a very rich feast today. Let us pray that we, like the wise men, might
be guided by the star who is Christ, and that we might all attain his wisdom.

fortnight today (20th) we are hosting the short (15mins) service for the Week
of Prayer for Christian Unity followed by a bring and
share lunch in the Social Centre. I
do encourage you all to come to this, and to meet with members of the other
Petts Wood Churches. The service will be
at 12.40pm (immediately after the 11.30 Mass) with lunch at 1.0.pm.
