Confessions: Saturday at 6.50pm after the 6.00pm.  Mass and Monday 10.00am after the 9.30am Mass, and also by prior appointment or at call.  Exposition: Monday 10.00-11.00am.

Today is World Day of Prayer for Vocations to the Priesthood and Consecrated life (monks and nuns) – also known as ‘Good Shepherd Sunday’.  The Gospel today reminds us that as he prepared to ascend to the Father, Jesus entrusted the role of care and leadership to his apostles.

This ministry is continued today by bishops, priests and deacons who are called to serve God in the ordained ministry.  We pray today that many will respond to his call.  Is there anyone in our community here being called by God to ordination, or to the religious life?  Is there anyone you could approach?  It is no use us bemoaning the lack of priests unless we are prepared to do something about it!

Today (Sat)    We welcome through Holy Baptism: on Saturday at 3.45pm, Joseph Terence Magee (9 months), his parents Liam & Amanda and his godparents Christopher, Elizabeth, Lynette & Shaun, and on Saturday at 4.30pm, Luke Thomas Samuels (5 months) and his parents Jon-Paul & Hannah and godparents Lisa, Robert & Daniel.
