Creator God, You gave us responsibility for the earth, a world of riches and delight.  Create in us a desire to live sustainably, so that those who follow after us may enjoy the fruits of your creation.

Compassionate and loving God who so loved us that he gave us this wonderful world to live in.  Help us to nurture and protect our world so that its beauty may be sustained for future generations.

Lord, we thank you for the wonderful opportunities that our modern transport systems provide.  Help us to use these benefits wisely, always choosing the ones which are appropriate to our needs.

Dear Lord, you created a world of natural beauty and wonder.  We ask you to bless our LiveSimply scheme to plant trees in British woodlands.  We pray that these trees will help to increase and support the diversity of nature needed to sustain our planet.

We pray for all who work closely with the natural world:

For farmers and gardeners who grow our food;

For scientists and technologists who probe the secrets of life;

For foresters who plant and harvest trees;

For artists, poets and photographers who capture beauty for others to see;
