22-Sep-13 For an all-purpose cleaner mix equal parts of white vinegar and water and keep in a plastic spray bottle.
29-Sep-13 To remove fresh grease spots from carpets sprinkle with cornflour, wait approximately 30 minutes and then vacuum off.
06-Oct-13 For chopping boards, rub a slice of lemon over the board to disinfect the surface and remove strong smells such as fish or onions. 
13-Oct-13 To polish sealed wooden floors mix one part white vinegar to one part vegetable oil. Then soak a cloth in the mixture and polish as you would a car. The end result is amazing.
20-Oct-13 To make a natural disinfectant mix one teaspoon of tea tree oil to one litre of water.
27-Oct-13 If you have a bloodstain on clothes, remove and soak in salt water straight away. Then wring out and wash in the normal way.

10-Nov-13 To clean brass and copper combine a few drops of lemon juice with one tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda.  Rub it over the metal and then polish off.
17-Nov-13 To clean inside a microwave, put a plastic bowl three-quarters full with water inside add a few teaspoons of bicarbonate of soda. Run on high for two minutes then remove bowl and wipe with a clean cloth.
24-Nov-13 To clean chrome apply either white vinegar or soda water with a soft cloth. Then dry to a beautiful shine by rubbing with a clean cloth.
01-Dec-13 To make an abrasive cleaner use either salt or bicarbonate of soda, both of which are gentle enough for most surfaces.
08-Dec-13 Bathtub rings can be removed by rubbing with neat lemon juice and wiping off with a sponge.
