This coming week we enter November- month of All Saints and All SoulsLast Friday we commended to God the soul of Ted Bray- a most moving requiem Mass and one which Ted would surely have appreciated- our prayers and sympathy to daughters Dolores and Rachel and their families; and this coming Tuesday at 11.45am (not a Mass) we shall commend to God the soul of Joshua Canning (12 yrs) - and our profound sympathy and prayers to Claire and Jon, and to his brother Joseph.

All Saints and All Souls give us great hope, and hold before us a wonderful vision of our final destiny - to be with God, and to be loved by him for all eternity.  I do hope that our two All Saints Masses (Mon 8pm and Tues 9.30am) and All Souls Mass (Wed 9.30am) will be well attended.  On Wednesday there will be an opportunity, during the Mass, to light a candle in memory of a loved one, there will also be some special music and refreshments will be served after Mass.

Saints in Heaven-pray for us!  And may the Faithful Departed rest in peace- and rise in glory!
