This is the last edition of ‘Briefly’ until September 8^th.  I hope no-one has withdrawal symptoms!

Seriously though, please keep abreast of things via the website, and also the porch board (including the external board) where Mass intentions will be posted.  I shall be around most of the time so please feel free to phone or (better still) email me, as usual.

NB church cleaning- please play your part when your turn comes round.  We are a large community of volunteers: we are ALL responsible for our church.  You are encouraged to come to exposition and benediction at 10am on your cleaning Saturday.

Also NB ‘Small Hall’ is now the designation for the room used by the pre-school.  In future it will also be used for a range of parish meetings and activities.

The work on the hall toilets refurbishment has started well and will continue until half way through September.

Keep faithful to Sunday Mass throughout August and don’t forget the Assumption on August 15^th.

Many thanks to those who took part in the Firm Believers walk/picnic last Tuesday, which was very successful. (See story on our website.)

Many parishioners have been asking about our latest grandchild.  Florence Joanna Wells was born on June 17^th to Dominique and Tim and is doing well!  She is due to be baptised here on October 6^th.
