The Second Collections scheduled during November are:

 

2nd November: Zambuko House (this year’s charity selected by the parish’s Justice and Peace Group) is a home, rehabilitation and training centre for homeless and vulnerable young people in Harare and is run by Jesuit Missions. 

 

9th November: the Archbishop’s Admin Fund

 

16th November: the Maintenance Fund.

Food for Bromley Borough Foodbank.

 

23rd November Christmas Traidcraft stalls after Masses.

 

The CWL Meeting

 

The next meeting will be held on Monday 27th October at 7.30 pm in the Social Centre.

 

This will be followed at 8.30pm by a talk about the work of the Saxon Centre in Orpington to which everyone is invited, i.e., not just the ladies of the parish.

 

 

The Annual Requiem Mass for the Clergy will be held here on Monday November 10th at 11.30am

 

We owe it to all those priests who have served us to make every effort to be present at this annual Mass and to pray for their souls as well as to remember them. TC

 

 

Day of Recollection for Ministers of Holy Communion and Readers – November 15th

 

The annual day of recollection is scheduled to take place at Bishop Thomas Grant School on Saturday November 15th. Booking forms are available in the church porch. Please take a copy and send it directly to the address given on the form to book your place. 

 

 

Parish Curry Night Saturday – November 15th

 

Tickets are available after Masses this weekend from Peter Benson and Suzanne Horner.  Adults £10; Children £5; Family Ticket £25.  Live music and curry from Rajdoot in Petts Wood.  Book early to avoid disappointment.  All proceeds are in aid of Parish Funds.

Confirmation in 2015

 

If you would like to apply to take part in our parish programme for Confirmation, please cut out this box and complete the information requested  below. Please then return the full slip to the Presbytery (283 Crescent Drive) by Sunday 9th November.

 

Please note the following:

 

1.      Candidates must be in Year 9 or above.

 

2.      There will be a weekend retreat and dates will be advised in due course.

 

3.      All sessions will be on Sunday evenings.

 

4.      You must attend Mass every week so that you will be confirmed in a faith that you have already been committed to in your life.
