Today’s Mass: God is our Father and always delights in receiving us back to himself (gospel). We may be sinners, but through our faith in Christ we are redeemed sinners- we have “come back to life”. And for that we thank the Lord.

Next Sunday is Home Mission Sunday -This year it falls within the historic visit of Pope Benedict XVI to the United Kingdom, and on the same day that Cardinal Newman will be beatified. The Sunday is dedicated to the spread of the Gospel in England and Wales. The second collection will support the work of Home Mission.
