Mondays
Pondering the Word in church from 11.00am to 12noon; all are welcome to this quiet reflective way of looking at the following week's Gospel.
The Monday Club runs from 1.30–4.30pm. Join it for friendship, laughter, crafts, exercise (table tennis, curling etc.) and board games. All welcome. Next session 14th January.
Tuesdays
Firm Believers is our Inter-Church fun-fitness class, from 7.00-7.45 pm. Suitable for all levels of fitness - go at your own pace. Wear any comfortable clothing and shoes. This is your chance to get fitter and slimmer. Relaxed atmosphere - come and give it a try for £5 a session (note change of fee). Stay on if you wish for tea, etc. and chat. The first preparation session will take place from 4.30-5.45pm
Film Night
We will be showing the 2017 film “Phantom Thread”, starring Daniel Day-Lewis. Running time is 130 minutes. Lights off at 7.30pm but the hall is open after 6.00pm Mass, and the bar open. Bring your supper to eat before the film starts if you wish.

This weekend we welcome, through Holy Baptism, Leo Barron and his parents Thomas and Jamie; and also Christopher Featherstone and his parents James and Renate.
Journey in Faith
Sessions resume this afternoon at 2.00pm in the Community Centre.
Help Great Ormond Street Hospital
Twinkle Toes Sofia Cotta, Stuart and his daughter Zoe will be kick starting their New Year with a cool 20km ‘winter walk’ across the streets and bridges of London, along with 2,000 others to raise money for GOSH. Zoe (now 14 years old) has been an in and out patient of GOSH since she was born with a rare condition called Goldenhar, and so very keen now that she’s able, to give something back. Catholic Women's League
The Petts Wood CWL would be delighted if you attended their New Year Party at 8.00pm in the St James’ Community Centre. Meet not only members from the St James' CWL, but also from other Bromley parishes and members from other churches in Petts Wood who are in the Churches Together group. It is a relaxed friendly evening with delicious food, a chance to make new friends and to learn the names of the people who you see in St James’ and around Petts Wood. There will be a fun quiz and entertainment.
