Pondering the Word in church from 11.00am to 12noon; all are welcome to this quiet reflective way of looking at the following week's Gospel.
Tuesdays
Firm Believers is our Interchurch fun-fitness class, from 7.00-7.45 pm. Suitable for all levels of fitness - go at your own pace. Wear any comfortable clothing and shoes. This is your chance to get fitter and slimmer. Relaxed atmosphere - come and give it a try for £5 a session (note change of fee). Stay on if you wish for tea, etc. and chat. More details here. Service of Remembrance for Bereaved Families & Friends
Losing a baby or a child of any age is one of the most painful experiences anyone may ever have to face. You are warmly invited to this special service which will take place at 3.00pm in the St James' Community Centre. The service will be a time of music, prayer, poetry and reflection. We do hope you will be able to join us and stay afterwards for refreshments. Please advise anyone you know who might benefit from this service that everyone is most welcome.

Noah’s Arc by the Pre School
Parishioners are invited to the rehearsal of the children's fantastic play ‘Noah’s Arc’, after morning Mass at 10.30am. If you would like to show your support to our younger parishioners, please contact the parish office on 01689 827100 to reserve a seat.

Catechists' meeting - POSTPONED
There will be a meeting for all catechists 8.00pm in the Community Hall. Please join us for a glass of wine / juice and nibbles to celebrate our achievements, and to share and support the catechist family.
Saturday 14th July
Film Club Night
We will be showing The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, a highly entertaining and touching British comedy/drama. It was released in 2011 and has a great cast of actors, including Dames Judi Dench and Maggie Smith. As before please feel free to bring a cold snack with you if you wish. The film will start at 7.45pm and runs for just under 2 hours.

This weekend we welcome, through Holy Baptism, Arthur Walsh and his parents David and Hayley, and also Anna Renton and her parents Gordon and Katharine.
Thursday 19th July
Time again for the annual Teddy Bears' Picnic in aid of CWL charities. Bring your favourite bear to the Parish Garden at 2.30pm. Tickets: Adult £3, Children £1, Bears free! There will be games, bubble machine, music, snacks and a raffle. Children's ticket includes an ice lolly.

The Justice and Peace Group will meet at 7.45pm in the Parish Office meeting room (281A Crescent Drive). All parishioners are assured of a warm welcome.
